STORE POLICIES

 

BUYER AGREEMENT 
Buyer agrees to pay the stated amount for all goods and services prior to pick up or delivery. Once the merchandise is received  through pickup or delivery, the agreement is considered fulfilled. All merchandise must be accepted by the customer within 60 days of arrival from the manufacturer. After 60 days, the customer’s merchandise will be forfeited, and any deposits made will be refunded as store credit ONLY. Skipper’s Furniture & Mattress Co. cannot guarantee the actual delivery date of goods ordered from manufacturers. The estimated date of arrival given is an approximate time frame and delays are not the responsibility of Skipper's Furniture & Mattress Co.

RETURNS & CANCELATIONS 
All returns are subject to the inspection and approval by Skipper’s Furniture & Mattress Co. Customers are limited to a 3-day satisfaction guarantee of all  merchandise. If a return is made in that period, all deposits and payments  will be refunded as store credit only and customers will  incur a pickup/restocking fee of $150.00. NO RETURNS for any item(s) purchased on clearance, as-is, special ordered or final sale (closeout).

WARRANTIES 
Upholstery and case goods have a 1-year warranty for factory defects, beginning on the date of delivery. Some manufacturers may have extended warranties. Skipper’s Furniture & Mattress Co. mattresses have a 10-year warranty; however, the mattress must have proof of defects, be covered by a mattress protector, and meet manufacturer warranty guidelines.  Mattresses covered with a protector have a 60-day sleep guarantee with a $150.00 reselection fee.

SPECIAL ORDERS 
All special orders require a 20% deposit prior to placing the order. Once an order has been made, the deposit will be refunded as store credit ONLY. No  special orders can be returned.

DELIVERY 
The buyer agrees to pay the full assembly/delivery charge as stated on the sales order. Skipper’s Furniture & Mattress Co. will schedule delivery options during hours of operation on Tuesday-Saturday. Pickups are during hours of operation Tuesday-Saturday and are at the risk of the customer. Once a delivery has been scheduled, the customer must provide  a 24-hour notice to make any changes. If the customer is not available at the delivery address, a re-delivery fee of $80.00 will be incurred. The delivery crew will remove old mattresses and box springs if it’s replaced with a new purchase from Skipper’s Furniture & Mattress Co.  ALL DAMAGES  FOUND MUST BE REPORTED WITHIN 3 DAYS OF DELIVERY. If there are no reported damages in that time period, the repairs are considered the buyer’s responsibility.
